thought would be funny. at 9:30 this morning, police were called to nurses' accommodations, where they found the body of the mayor'nurse. the hospital had been supporting her through this difficult time. diligently scared for hundreds of patience. everyone is shot by a much loved colleague. in a statement from st. james's palace, the statement said, was look after so well by everyone at the hospital." the prank call was made by two australian radio presenters. they work for a sydney radio station called today fm. the station has offered its deepest sympathies. the nurse was on night duty at king james hospital. at 5:30 on tuesday morning, the prank call came through. she answered it and was taken in by the callers' impersonation of the queen. she was put through by a second nurse who was monitoring the duchess. the nurse had not been disciplined or suspended as a result of what happened. the nurse was married with two children. >> now to the pressing economic deadline facing the united states, which has global implications. the fiscal cliff, a combination of tax increases and spending

fiscal cliff. if you look at what the president's stance to gai if the country goes over the fiscal cliff, there are very clear and identifiable things. on the one hand he president could identify himself as a tax cutter. he could say -- on january 1st the president in terms of the country and say, now in favor of cutting these taxes that have been raised because we did not solve this before ththe fiscal cliff. he can turn and say to my want to restore some of this funding that my secretary of defense and joint chiefs of staff told me i need to restore and can position himself as st of the protector of u.s. national security. so tre are some clear incentives to the president to lead the country over the fiscal cliff. do i think that's what he wants? probably not, but do i think there are incentives for him to do it temecula. gerri: never looked at it that way. as you look at this debate on going, there are a lot of folks who say we will be flirting with recession or in recession if we do go over t cliff. do you agree? >> that happens only if we go off the cliff andtay off for an ext
